Let’s Build A Castle

Years K, 1 & 2

This course will suit you if you:
• are interested in history and days of old.
• like to build things, write stories and dress up.

We are going to build a castle we can play in. Come along and learn all the parts of a castle and discover what it was like to live in one. Would you like to dress up, write stories and perform some reader’s theatre from inside the castle?

We will be using our higher order thinking skills to understand the place of castles in history. Did they really pour hot oil on people invading the castle?
We will let down the portcullis just for you, so come and join us on a magical quest of discovery.
