This course will suit you if you:

•enjoy creative, hands-on activities.

Come with us on an archaeological adventure as we locate and unearth some modern day buried treasures.  Learn about how every day objects found in the ground can help us find out about the lives other people lived many centuries ago, and in different parts of the world.  

In this course you will don your archaeologist’s hat as you work out and employ the best techniques for extracting historical evidence, which enables archaeologists to piece together the past.  You’ll also learn about art forms, which have survived through the eras and will have the opportunity to fashion your own mosaic creation to take home.    
After our exciting, exhilarating and exhausting expeditions, we will try our hand at some glass painting and sample some calligraphy techniques.
